See why it's so confusing?

Testing?

The hell? I logged in to post a much needed rant, and all my posts are missing.

Must investigate........

Ok, now they're showing up. Whatever, if my blog looks wacky I'm sure it will correct itself.

Hubbs and I are embarking on the 21 day no complaining challenge. Not just for our marriage, but for our overall well being and happiness in the world. More on that here.

So before we start that, I need to get the following off my chest.

I work with a cretin. A loud mouthed, obnoxious cretin. Who had the nerve to tell me, after I spent 90 minutes fixing everyone's database which included adding a special field just for him, that-
"the problem with this company is people like you who don't give a shit"

My reply?

"We could spend an hour talking about what's wrong with this company and it has nothing to do with me not giving a shit. Now I'm going to finish my lunch, we can talk about this at 1pm"

Good lord I was mad. Like steam coming out of my ears, stomp around the office, Hubbs come kick his ass MAD.

I couldn't decide if I should go to my superior, or just tell Cretin he's not allowed to talk to me that way. So me, being a dumbass and trying to give a cretin a chance, decided to go to him.

"Cretin-you insulted me, and you are not allowed to talk to me that way anymore."

"Wha-wha-wha-what way? What are you talking about?"

And then of course it just turned in to another argument. So I went in to my bosses office, which is next to his bosses office, which is next to the owners, and repeated what he said to me. VERY loudly. (Of course, just my luck the other 2 offices were empty) I also said "Go home and terrorize your wife", knowing full well he doesn't have one. Hmmm, wonder why?

If I someday mysteriously disappear from the interwebs, it's because I stuck a fork in a cretin's eye.

Anyway, how strange that I found the following description of someone else's coworker on the internet today-which spells out EXACTLY what I think his problem is-

"Why don't you just take your fucking meds and stop picking on little menial shit that you really don't give a shit about in the first place. I think you just go through a list in your fucked up head and pick on something just because you don't want to pay attention to your horrible, pathetic, sad little life."

That's exactly what he does. Stuff that doesn't matter, stuff that has worked fine for everyone else for 3 years, he decides is stupid and needs to be changed. And if you don't think so too, then you don't give a shit. Jesus Christ, what a sad little man.

Done.

Brrrrrrrrrr................

When I woke up this morning, it was 8 degrees. Yes, you read that right. 8 DEGREES!!!!

The only good thing about this damn weather is it makes me more willing to work out. I have to do something to get my blood flowing so my frickin toes don't fall off.

The bad, bad, VERY BAD thing about this weather is I hate driving in it. I'm from Southern California (beautiful, warm Southern California-oh how I miss thee)and I just can't get comfortable driving in this nonsense. Even with 4 wheel drive, by the time I get to work my hands are shaking, my heart is pounding, and I'm ready to cry.

But, I am better at driving in the snow and ice then I was 7 years ago, so maybe in 7 more years it will be second nature.

Until then, please send me safe driving thoughts.

Shallow? Or Insecure?

We went to parents night last night at Youngest's school. Usually when we go to school events, I'm paralyzed with anxiety. Surrounded by soccer moms with huge diamond rings, I feel my tattooed self just doesn't fit in. My clothes are wrong, my hair is wrong, and every one knows I suck.

Last night, after seeing all the other parents, I looked at Hubbs and said "I thought we lived in a better neighborhood."

One woman was dressed like a stripper. I shit you not. I saw more cleavage and ass last night than I think I have all year. And it wasn't pretty cleavage and ass. It was more....trailer park. (I can say that, I lived in a trailer)

So, my question to myself is this. Am I so shallow that my social anxiety is directly related to whether or not I think I'm better than everyone around me? And I don't mean better like I'm a better person. I'm sure stripper mom is very nice and volunteers at the food bank on the weekends. I mean better like-I know how to dress to go to school functions. Does that make sense? I don't think I'm better than anyone, I really don't. In fact, I'm quite sure the majority of parents there are much better parents than I was/am. But when I looked around and realized I was in the top 10% of the best dressed people there, I relaxed and felt better.

Wow. I am shallow. My social anxiety can be cured with the proper wardrobe. I wonder if I can get a prescription for that?

Another Reason Why I'm Going To Hell

We shopped at Wal-Mart last night. Not only was it after work, but it was the 1st. The frickin place was packed with very yucky people, it was HORRIBLE.

Since I've decided to (successfully) change our eating habits, I've noticed that I have become quite judgmental. I was looking at all the obese people, then sneaking peeks inside their carts, and I thought "Well no wonder you're fat."

Supposedly all the crap food is cheaper than the healthy stuff, but my husband and I found that to be false. When we stopped buying processed food we actually saved money on our grocery bill. I can't afford a lot of the exotic things I would like to be trying, but we eat healthy and keep our weight down on the same amount of money we used to spend. Which leads me to believe that everyone is just lazy and not trying hard enough. Which then makes me think, why is it any of my business?

I'll tell you why. If you choose to be obese, you should not be allowed to wear mini skirts and midriff baring tops. Ewwww.

And if you need a motorized cart to get around the store because you are too fat to walk, maybe you should be walking anyway.

I know. I'm a horrible person. Hence the name of this blog.
