Big Fish by Daniel Wallace.
Not bad, not bad at all. I thought I would have trouble reading it due to the subject matter-a son dealing with his father's impending death-but it didn't affect me that way at all. It did, however, give me a greater appreciation for the things our parents do, both good and bad. And it left me wishing I was able to get to know my mother a little bit better before she died.

Isn't there a film based on this book? I tried sitting through it but it kind of reminded me of like a Terry Gilliam flick. Sometimes they are spot on, and sometimes he's just way too in his own world for others to understand.
I'm interested in the book, however. Would you recommend it?
The movie was adapted from the book, and of course the book is much better. I do recommend it, I really enjoyed it.
